Feb 28. | Clay Play

Come play with clay at Curio! Join us for an evening working with this beautiful material of the earth. Participants will get cream clay to create intuitively, in whatever way they feel, working to create functional or sculptural objects (not food safe items). This is a self-lead, time for you to explore in clay, but a ceramicist will be available for any questions.

Mini objects, trinket dish, incense trays, little animals, ring cones, tic-tac-toe set, soap dish, spoon rest, candle holder, bud vase, wall hanging, the sky's the limit. 

Objects will be fired unglazed by ceramicist and notified for pick-up (typically 3-6 weeks after the event). Wait time is dependent on how quickly objects dry prior to firing.

Where to park: Curio's address is 1356 S 33rd St. Parking is located along 33rd St, B St, and East of our building in the grassy lot.

Shopping: All attendees will have time to shop after the workshop wraps up with a special discount.

Please note that this workshop is non-refundable. Although, if you are unable to make it, you are welcome to transfer your spot to friends, family or whomever you choose. Please reach out as soon as possible so we can change the name on the reservation.

Cancelation policy: If the minimum number of participants is not met we will cancel the workshop and refund the ticket price.
