Curio
Jan 26 | Clothing Swap
We're excited to host another Curio Clothing Swap! Clothing swaps are a great way to refresh your wardrobe while supporting the environment. By exchanging items you no longer wear for something new-to-you, you reduce textile waste and extend the life of clothing that might otherwise end up in a landfill.
How it works:
- Drop off 1-20 clean, gently used items anytime between Jan 18th - 25th during open hours.
- Pay $1 per donation at time of drop off (before Sunday, Jan 26th)
- We will sort and fold items in preparation for the swap.
- Doors will open at 4:30pm on Sunday, Jan 26th. The swap is first come first serve to those who donated items.
- This is a 1-for-1 swap, meaning you will get to take home pieces up to the number of items you brought, using the honor system.
-
We hope you find something (or many things!) you love, but the main focus of this event is to keep items out of the landfill and give them the potential for new life.
- Any remaining clothing at the end of the swap will be donated to a local non-profit.
- Please bring: clean, gently used clothing, shoes and bags
- Please don’t bring: undergarments, damaged, dirty or stained items
- We politely ask that items are thoughtfully picked and in great condition so that everyone can hopefully have a successful swap experience. If you are unable to participate in the swap, but would still like to donate items, we are happy to include your items in the overflow.
We hope you will join us in keeping clothing circulating, out of landfills, and loved as long as possible!
